Prescription and construction of the Sforzesco brace - SPoRT concept

Milan, physicians May 7-8, orthotists May 7-9, 2012

ISICO presents the first international Course to deeply and practically teach how to prescribe and build the Sforzesco brace, the new innovative instrument, developed in the last years by Prof. Stefano Negrini to treat high degree scoliosis patients. During the Course, the new SPoRT concept of bracing (Symmetric, Patient oriented, Rigid, Three-dimensional, active) will be thoroughly presented and discussed. The brace and concept have been verified in these years with many papers in the literature, and it has today good scientific basis.
The Course is focused on the end-users: physicians and orthotists, even if other professionals involved in brace prescription and construction could be interested in participation. To guarantee the maximum involvement of participants, the Course has a limitation in the number of participants.
